[edit] Information
The Nature of Things visits Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Mississippi to document the spectacular return of American white pelicans and double-crested cormorants and the violent controversy that surrounds them. The banning of DDT has allowed colonies to flourish and fishermen are blaming the fish-eating birds for the disappearance of valuable fish stock. Are the birds really to blame or are they merely scapegoats for human error?
