"Rockabilly was more than the blues. It had style. It had an outfit you could wear with it and a haircut and a dance you could do. It's flamboyant, tough and colourful. All the elements were right for us to fall in love with" - Brian Setzer. This Country's Rockin' was conceived as a ten hour live country/blues/rock extravaganza recorded in front of 70,000 people at the giant Pontiac Silverdome in 1989. The entire show was subsequently broadcast on radio and television in the United States and was intended to break down many of the musical categorisations that have existed for many decades. This video features an interview with the band as well as Carl Perkins. Then the band perform some of their hits live at 'This Contry's Rockin' Show along with many other big names in Country & Rock 'n' Roll music, capturing the raw energy of the Stray Cats in their prime. Songs featured: 1. Baby Blue Eyes 2. Rumble In Brighton 3. Nine Lives 4. Gene & Eddie 5. Stray Cat Strut 6. Rock This Town
