This documentary film is based on a series of eight video films made in 2002. It offers thematically arranged cuts of contemporary witnesses, which where carried out by the "Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte" (House of Bavarian History) since 1986 with survivors of the concentration camp Dachau. The witnesses speak about their views on the events and their experiences and sufferings.
