Video of the Curiosity descending onto the Martian surface. Produced by Bard Canning it took him 4 weeks to produce this 2 minute 54 second video by interpolating the original 4fps underside landing camera images into a 30fps video. The original 104MB Webm file uses the VP8/OGG codecs. This file uses x264/AAC inside a MKV container using similar bitrates. Curiosity didn't have a microphone - the audio is artificial. The only part NASA played was to supply the images.
