A documentary about feminine heroism, sacrifice, devotion and hope. It tells the story of the women's underground operation to plot an uprising in Auschwitz-Birkenau using smuggled gun powder taken from the munitions factory. Four young women took responsibility for the whole ordeal which ended in their public hanging.
