[edit] Information
The Wet is the most dramatic of all seasons in Australia, but each year it is different. The Big Wet is the chronicle of a particular wet season in the tropical north. It starts with the last days of the Dry in September and concludes with the first fires in April.
The DVD looks at the effect it has on all living things in the Top End. For the Salt-Water Crocodile and Magpie Goose it is a time to breed; for Agile Wallabies and other small marsupials it can be a time of stress as they are forced to find shelter from the flood. Featured throughout the film is the majestic scenery of Kakadu and Arnhem Land.
